DURANGO & SILVERTON RAILROAD
All aboard! Take a step back in history and ride one of the last surviving narrow gauge railroads on the Durango & Silverton Train. Journey through the natural scenic beauty of the San Juan Mountains on this route that was originally built in the late 1800's. The coal-fired, steam-powered train is an authentic way to travel back in time as you enjoy panoramic views of steep mountain canyons, rivers, and forests.

Year-Round Excursions
Depending on the time of year, there are different train rides and schedules available. You can also choose between Coach, Deluxe, First Class and Presidential train cars, all providing a unique and authentic experience.
Special events are also offered year-round! Just to name a few, the Winter offers the Polar Express, the New Year's Day Special Train, and Romance on the Rails. In the Spring there is the Peanuts Easter Beagle Express and The Narrow Gauge Days. In the Summer, there is the T-REX Express. In the Fall there is the Peanuts Great Pumpkin Patch Express.
